Group A(Differential Equations)

Unit I:solution of 1^st order and 1^st degree differential equations-variable separable method, Homogeneous equation, Exact equations.

Unit II: Linear equations(including Bernoulli’s equation, and other simple cases reducible to linear equations), Orthogonal Trajectories.

Unit III: Higher order linear differential equations with constant    coefficients, Homogeneous linear differential equations, Application of differential equations in simple cases

Group B(statics)

Unit IV: coplanar forces-condition of equilibrium on smooth planes, friction-low of friction, equilibrium on rough planes.

Unit V: Center of gravity(C.G) of a triangle formed by three rods, C.G. of an arc and a sector of a circle, C.G of an quadrant of an ellipse, C.G of an  cardioide,  C.G of an astroid, and C.G of a lamina bounded by a parabola and a line.
